According to the New York Post , dorky dad shoes are taking over the fashion world.
You know the type, those “thick-soled, aggressively awkward sneakers beloved by Jerry Seinfeld, circa 1994” — well, they are currently fashion’s hottest, must-have accessory.
Maybe these trendsetters are finally figuring out what us dads have known all along: comfortable, sturdy footwear never goes out of style.
According to the New York Post, just in the past month, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner and Jaden Smith have all sported new clunky tennis shoes.
In November, Chance the Rapper donned a pair while hosting “Saturday Night Live,” while model Bella Hadid wore some very dad-like Nikes during a recent dinner with her own dad.
